Nothing New to Report

I am thinking about domain mapping and going to type pad for my Stampin'up! Blog. I will use this blog as my personal blog for personal pictures and things and have the type pad blog to show cards and things about Stampin' UP! My goal is to actually make a business out of being a Stampin' Up! demonstrator. I am going through a Blogger boot camp which is very informative. Now I just need to find someone who can show me how to create banners and blog buttons and I should be all set to go.

Updated Blog

I am trying to promote my new business. In May I decided to become a Stampin' Up! Demosntrator. I am hoping to use my blog as a way along with my Stampin' up Website to get customers. This will be a work in progress as I add not content and galleries to my blog so check back.

Lay offs Suck!!

I have been Laid off from my job a week a month for the last three months. Now I am on a two month complete layoff. They tell me that if the economy gets better I will be called back and in two months they will decide whether to extend the layoff or make it permanent. I hope the economy picks up soon so I can have my job back. I am just squeaking by on Unemployment but the Job market it not good right now either with all the other layoffs. I have been doing some serious praying but I don't know if God is listening. I know he has a plan for me but I don't know what it is. I have the cleanest apartment in all of Oshkosh because all I am doing is cleaning and sleeping. This can't be healthy. At least I have more time to post to my blog now.

New business and changing blog

I just joined up to be a Stampin'Up demonstrator. This means I will be my own boss. I am not sure how this will work but hopeful people will come to me to order there card stamping and scrapbooking supplies and have cardmaking and scrapbooking parties. I just found out today I will be laid off for two months instead of a week each month. I am also going to use this blog to showcase some cards and scrapbook pages that I have created. I will include the suplies I used to create each card/scrapbook page.

I'm Bored!!!

This has been a boring first couple of days this week. I started my layoff week and I haven't felt motivated to do anything.I had to do the grocery shopping today and at Festival Foods in Oshkosh I was getting soy milk and I noticed by the organic milk they replaced the usuall brand with the Sassy Cow Brand. I was so happy I bought a gallon of good organic milk that I actually know where the milk came from. I try not to know where things come from it seems better that way but in this case it was nice that we took the field trip. I actually knew I was getting real organic milk. Thanks Rod for suggesting the field trip. I plan to get to Columbus soon for other field trips but it is a really long trip from Oshkosh.

It's Friday!!! At least I still have a job.

Thank god it's Friday. This has been a tough week. We finally found out at work that they are doing a rolling layoff. What that means to me is that every 4 weeks I have a week off of work. I will be able to claim unemployment but at the end of the week I get to go back to my job. I can only hope our business picks up soon. I am also starting to use my treadmill at home to get dome more exercise. I would like to lose 20 lbs.
